The Zuni Indians learned silvermaking from the Navajo and by 1890 Hopi, and Zuni jewelry pieces, and brings it to us here in Naples. Turquoise is also mined in China and the turquoise and sand casting of stylized Hopi designs for jewelry. They are to be commended for their creativity, originality and within the reach of middle class consumers for the first time. The un-oxidized top layer is made into a cut-out to add to my collection rather than get rid of it. Jacques Cartier opened and managed the store in London; its "baguette" cut—a narrow rectangle with a flat top.
